The Situation

Cottsway Housing Association Ltd is a not-for-profit housing association based in Witney, Oxfordshire that manages more than 4,500 homes. 

The Challenge

Cottsway commissed JEC pofrsional Sevices to run its first Business Continuity exercise to rehearse and validate its Business Continuity Plans.

The Solution

Working closely with the Resources Director we devised and facilitated a Business Continuity exercise involving the Business Continuity Committee and the Incident Management Team focused on the critical operations of the company.

The Results

We provided a post exercise review report identifying lessons learned from the exercise and with recommendations to enhance Cottsway’s Business Continuity Management System. 

A post-exercise review report was produced to assess the achievement of the aims and objectives of the exercise.  This report also included:

• General feedback;
• Additions and recommended changes to the current Business Continuity manual;
• Prioritised Actions;
• Recommendations for future exercises.
